Andrea Cowart knows a thing or two about this way of life.

Her media sales job wasn't fulfilling her on a creative level, so last September she launched a special-order sugar cookie company that she runs by night … and weekends and early mornings.

In addition to providing her the artistic expression she so craved, the off-hours hustle came with some sweet bonus benefits: extra income to help Cowart and her husband, Michael, rehab an old house and save up for a baby on the way.
