Guerrilla Guide to the Holidays: Gifts for Everyone on Your List, Part 2

Gift List

If you’ve been following our Guerrilla Guide to the Holidays, you know the holidays are only eight short weeks away. But this year, we’re getting you through the holiday season with as little as stress as possible, by walking you through each holiday to-do step by step.

By following our guides, you'll save time and money—and who couldn't use a little more of both?

Week 4: (More) Perfect Presents for Everyone

As you may remember from our Guerrilla Guide two weeks ago, the key to finding the best presents for the people in your life (while not going over budget), is figuring out how they give and receive messages of affection. After all, gifts aren't just about price tags: Some people really do appreciate quality time, or a thoughtful, well-written card more than a tangible present.

But, of course, there's a good chance you'll still be giving some physical gifts during the holiday season—which is why we're here with the second installment of our gift guide, packed with perfect under-$50 options for everyone.

Let your friends and family's personal interests and Love Languages inform your choices: Last week, we presented you with creative, affordable gifts ideas for the Do-Gooder, the Creative Type, the Adventure Seeker, the Fashion-Loving Female and the Fashion-Forward Male. Feel free to go back and revisit those.

In the meantime, this week, we bring you our second and final installment.

  • I would have liked to have seen some cheaper items.  These gifts aren’t what I call frugal….

It  appears  that  you  have  the  mentality  of  a  parent  nowadays. Give  your  kid/gift recipient,  whatever  they  want,  no  matter  what  the  effort  and  cost.  Try  giving  us  some  common  sense ideas  that  we  might make  at  home  ,  at  a  lesser  cost .  I  believe  that  your ideas/gifts  will last  a lot  longer  than  an  expensive  idea/gift  and  be  more  valuable .  Remember  that  when  you  pass  on, people  don’t remember  how  much  you  had  in  your  bank  account,  they  remember  how  many  lives  you  touched.

Nothing quite so irritiating as slideshows – esp when you can’t hover over the image to get a clue BEFORE you have to click through all of them.
