The 9 Best Quick Dinner Party Dishes

The 9 Best Quick Dinner Party DishesSummer's over, and whatever that means for your life right now, it probably signals fewer hours devoted to yourself, to vacation, to beach time, to just plain messing around—in the kitchen and outside it.

But being back in town and on a regular schedule also means more opportunities to connect with your friends. One of our favorite ways to gather everyone in one place is to throw a fun dinner party.

Granted, you might have less time to prepare than you did midsummer, but many of our favorite dinner party entrées can be thrown together in under an hour, so keep your pantry stocked and your cutting board handy, and you’ll be able to have friends over for a great meal on a whim. • One thing that I’ve always enjoyed is collecting recipes. One day I would like to make them all, but I just don’t have the money right now. Maybe one day I will. I’m sure that I will. I first started collecting, because my mother likes collecting recipes as well. I wanted to create a recipe book for her after I collected enough mis-matched recipes from all over. Eventually, as I started to cook for my fiance, I started wanting to cook those recipes more and more.

  • Mrs. Clause

Web Page is CRAP. Most of the time when I click on something I find an empty page. Just like this one. 9 recepies. WHERE ARE THEY?????

    • Wfontana

Mrs. Clause,  you have to click onto the picture of the dish to see the recipe.  Otherwise, if they had all nine recipes on this one page, it will be a very very long page.  Most recipe sites function this same way.

  • Shana Garr

  • Donna

Sure would be nice to have a print button, so I could have a copy of the recipe.
