  • Great list! I especially like the Tom’s shoes, which made me think that a pair of Uggs slippers ought to also be on the list. Also, the recent death of Leslie Nielsen has the DVD movie “Airplane” on my guy’s wish list.nnThanks for some great ideas, especially for my dad!

    • Thanks for the additional suggestions, Kelley! I like that the Tom’s shoes has a charitable bent… for what it’s worth, we’re planning to showcase some gifts in an upcoming Daily that donate all or part of proceeds to good causes. nnHave a great day!nnAllisonnEditor, LV

I find guys really hard to shop for, so I appreciate the tips. I am buying my brother “Black Ops” and he is thrilled (I asked first to make sure he didn’t already buy it). nnI usually buy my dad books. He reads a lot of non-fiction. I would recommend The Bullpen Gospels (funny, touching story about a minor league baseball player) and The Right Stuff (about the start of the U.S. space program).

    • Awesome! Glad we could help–let us know how he likes it.

Wow, didn’t realize until right now that there are no books on the list! I have uber-girly taste in books, so I can’t weigh in on guy books. Can anyone else?

Am I pigeonholing myself if I admit that the IT Crowd is one of my favorite things EVER? I love it. The writer, Graham Linehan (http://twitter.com/Glinner), also worked on Father Ted, another classic. Nerd out.

I really like the cool lego calendar but there’s no link of where to buy it… :(
