In the past, we could check our bank account, Facebook our friends, and watch that funny video with the cat doing something endearing on our laptops at Starbucks for free—but only for two hours. Starting July 1st, Starbucks will be offering unlimited, free wireless internet to its patrons, along with free access to paid-content sites such as The Wall Street Journal and Zagat.
On the Starbucks Digital Network (the company’s partnership with Yahoo), the chain will also provide a career section to help those of us in need conduct job searches and polish up our résumés, as well as features directly relating to our neighborhood, like photos and news.
