The Top 7 Easy Ways To Make Over Your Home (Slide Show!)

craftsThere's no reason to pay expensive store prices for items you can easily make yourself at home (and have fun doing so). Our homes are an expression of our individuality, and there's no better way to make them look exactly like we want than to, well, make them look exactly like we want. Plus, we enjoy it.

Our favorite projects can be accomplished without real artistic know-how or lots of obscure and expensive supplies (because we weren’t all art majors in college, you know). Most of all, they are objects that you’ll be proud to display in your home or give as gifts.

Our picks include a trendy lamp that’s normally sold for nearly $600; a bowl made out of a vinyl record, regularly almost $30; and a leather chain necklace that usually costs $75. We plan to give the felted soap as a gift, but will totally keep the chain necklaces and silhouette art for ourselves.

For a dose of pure inspiration, check out our slide show of easy, cheap crafts projects that you can really use. Scroll to the bottom for links and instructions.
