Kitchen Appliances
  • What kitchen appliances do you think are worth the money? Have you ever bought a kitchen appliance that you regretted? Or could you just get by with a pan, a pot, a knife and a wooden spoon?
  • Wow, of all my goodies in the kitchen, what would I keep? It would have to be the Crockpot!
  • Definitely my Kitchenaid espresso machine. Bought it refurbished, which brought the price down by half, and imagine how much you save when you can be your own barrista. Good-bye to blowing bucks at Starbucks!
  • I love all my appliances. I try not to pay for them. I ask for them as presents or go to thrift shops and rummage sales and pay as little as possible for them. I think I've grown out of a couple of them though. I have a big food processor that was given to me when I was cooking for 7. Now I only cook for 3 or 4 and I find it to troublesome to pull it out just for a few. I also bought a very large Crockpot for $2 at a rummage sale and again I've out grown it. My favorite appliance is a small electric chopper that works like a mini food processor. It was a gift from my daughter and it cost only $10.
