What kitchen appliances do you think are worth the money? Have you ever bought a kitchen appliance that you regretted? Or could you just get by with a pan, a pot, a knife and a wooden spoon?
Definitely my Kitchenaid espresso machine. Bought it refurbished, which brought the price down by half, and imagine how much you save when you can be your own barrista. Good-bye to blowing bucks at Starbucks!
I love all my appliances. I try not to pay for them. I ask for them as presents or go to thrift shops and rummage sales and pay as little as possible for them. I think I've grown out of a couple of them though. I have a big food processor that was given to me when I was cooking for 7. Now I only cook for 3 or 4 and I find it to troublesome to pull it out just for a few. I also bought a very large Crockpot for $2 at a rummage sale and again I've out grown it. My favorite appliance is a small electric chopper that works like a mini food processor. It was a gift from my daughter and it cost only $10.
