    What was the best money lesson you ever learned, either from a trusted family member or friend, or from an experience?

    Don't ever lend out money you can't afford to live without. Meaning when you loan someone money, don't give them more than you can do without. Think of it as a gift ahead of time in case they never pay it back

    Increase your 401(k) contributions every time you get a raise. I've been doing at least 1% every time and I've never felt it!
