I'm a college sophomore and I'm hoping to raise some quick money for an alternative spring break mission trip. I'm a broke college student with no job and I need to raise $50 for a deposit in less than a month and then I'll have to pay $250 before the mission trip itself. How can I fundraise politely...and quickly? Thanks!

Also: I have heard about people writing letters and sending them to family and friends. I would be fine with this, but since the amount I would have to pay for my mission trip isn't all that incredibly large, what would I say in the letter? Because I don't want to earn more than I need for the trip and not put it towards my trip (if that makes sense). In summary: I don't know what to say in the letter! Thanks!
