Money Club - Bay Area
  • Anyone interested in starting a money club in the Bay Area? I think it's a great idea, and would love to be a part of one.
  • Hi I am very interested in starting a money club! I am not that knowledgeable but need a safe place to ask all of my questions. My boyfriend works for a hedge fund and would def be able to help out here and there with advice, etc. Where are you located kkp318? I am in SF specifically in SOMA. Let's get together!
  • I am interested! I live in SF also.
  • I'm interested, too. I live in Oakland, and going to SOMA in SFO is no big deal.
  • Wow! It looks like we have a good amount of interest. I'm in Oakland too. We could alternate meetings between Oakland and SF? Thoughts?
  • Also, are there days of the week/times people would prefer? We can possibly get started planning the first meeting.
  • I'm in Sacramento, but I too would be intersted!
  • Hi all, I'm in Walnut Creek but would certainly make the trek to be a part of the club. Any idea on when this might kick off?
  • I am interested. I live in Glen Park in SF and work in Oakland, so I'm open to either location. Has anyone thrown out dates yet?
  • I wrote to find good days, but didn't get a response. Also, in order to make this easier, do people just want to email me on my personal email: kkp318@gmail.com, if you're interested. I can organize from there.

Dates: How does either Saturday 10/20 or Sunday 10/21 work? I would suggest meeting maybe sometime between 10am and 4pm for like an hour or two?

Location options: Outside on Lake Merritt, Barnes & Noble in Emeryville, a library or cafe in Berkeley -- feel free to throw out more. I'm new to the area, and don't know many areas, but they all seem like they'd be fairly convenient for everyone.
