Hi! I'm Christina I am a 26 year old living in sunny Orlando, Florida. I've worked in banking and currently work in investments, but love using Learnvest as a resource for their smart, practical advice on saving & budgeting.
I've been a subscriber for over a year and I am always reading articles Learnvest posts to Facebook (especially anything to do with the psychology of money), following their quick tips on Twitter, and re-pinning inspiration on Pinterest!
When I purchased my first car out of college I looked into a used rental car. They don't negotiate on price, but the prices are so low I doubt I could have negotiated a better deal. Hertz, Enterprise, etc- rental car companies have their own dealers through out the country. They take good care of their cars. I got a 2010 Corolla with just under 50,000 miles for 10,800 sticker price. Of course tax, made it a bit more (around 13,000). I wouldn't opt for the extended warranty like I did, just get a certified car with a year limited warranty at no additional cost. Check and make sure the tires are to your liking! I got what appear to be brand new tires.
