Investing with ING

    I'm considering investing $$$ with ING in a CD &/or munis and have never worked with ING before. Any opinions regarding fees, customer service and etc?

    i have had an ING savings account for about 5 years and i love ING. i am considering leaving my current bank to open a checking account with ING, and have been looking into mortgages with ING as well because of how much i have enjoyed being a customer there. i don't have any personal experience with their investing tools, but overall my experience with ING has been very positive. their website is very easy to use and their customer service is great.

    one warning: they recently got acquired by capitol one. i haven't seen any changes yet, but i would recommend doing some searching on blogs, etc to see if there will be any negative changes. it also does take a couple days to transfer money to other banks.

    I've been with ING for over ten yrs now. I've had the checking account for four years. I don't bank with anyone else. I love ING. Go with them. They are the real deal. Fees are up front and honest. What you see on their website is what you get...

    PS I'm also a capital one venture card holder, and I love capital one too!

    ING is awesome. The free send a check feature is great and saves on time finding your checkbook, writing out the check, putting it in an envelope, etc.. Plus, they keep your contact on file if you need to send another check, and all for free! Just amazing.

    The instant transfers between accounts is also another big plus.
