Anyone know whether it's better to only pay credit cards once a month, or if it can help your credit score/interest rate/other if you pay off as you go throughout the month. I had been paying one cc every week to keep my balance at $0 and not have the cash in my bank to tempt me to spend elsewhere - and they reduced my credit limit.
You should pay once a month to let a balance reach the credit bureaus. It shows that you actively use credit and hopefully your card would increase the limit thinking you just need more money.
