Should I stay or should I go - two part time jobs to stay in a career path

    I finished my graduate degree in a liberal arts/humanities field in 2009 and have been working two different part time jobs (career related) to make full time work since then. My question is: do I stay working these two part time jobs that are relavant to my degree or do I go out and get something full time that may not be related to my degree? I want to stay in this field but am not finding full time work and am currently underemployed with the part times and lots of student loan debt to boot. How long should I hold out?

    Interesting! I think that I can help more if I know specifics (because each industry is so different in terms of whether or not you'll have difficulty moving back to your desired career after a hiatus elsewhere). What was your major, and what are your current positions?

    I work in the museum field with a master's degree in museum studies. Currently I work in an archives and at a very small startup museum as their curator.
