What's Your Favorite Cleaning Supply?

  • I love Mrs. Meyers geranium scented counter spray. I know that I just have to spray and let it dry and my counters are good to go! Also, if the garbage has been left in the bag a little too long, it smells awesome and gets that bad smell out!
  • I have two little boys, and although they are potty trained, they are still working on their aim. I am constantly cleaning my floor around my toilet. To save time (and scrubbing), I spray a bleach cleaner on and around the base of the toilet and the rim and lay paper towels down and spray a little more to thoroughly soak it and then I clean the rest of the bathroom. By the time I'm done, it has soaked through any dried on funk and I wipe it up, wipe it over a second time and I'm done. This saves me 15 extra minutes.
  • I used Dr. Bronner's liquid soap for washing produce, doing the dishes, wiping down dining tables/ counter tops, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and washing my dogs. The Tea tree is very good for pets and floors. I use lavender for cleaning dishes/counter tops. I switch to lemon / peppermint depending on what scent I want to use but a little goes a Very long way. The soap is a very high quality and made from clean ingredients. You wont be worried about bad chemicals lurking around your house!
  • My daughter had turned me on to Mr Magic Eraser's years ago. I really don't know how I lived without them. But now, I get them at the Dollar Store. 2 for $1:00. Can't beat it!!!
  • VINEGAR!...cheap and effective...it may smell a little, but not nearly as bad as bleach and heavily perfumed cleaners...it works on floors, windows, granite and small critter cages...i throw it in a spray bottle with water....1 gallon keeps me going for months....and a gallon jug of vinegar is pittance compared to store bought cleansers.
