    Does anyone know if there is a way to get discounts on your cell phone bill? I have heard some companies offer discounts if you are a student or government employee, but I could not find much info on it while searching the internet. Thanks!

    I threw your question out to our Twitter community and this is what I got:

    @LearnVest yes, a lot of companies gave partnerships with cell phone co's. I get 25% off bc of who I work for. - @siffordk1

    @LearnVest I get 10% off because I'm a college student - @castufy

    I get a 15% discount from AT&T because I'm a teacher.

    May I suggest that you ask your HR department if your company has a program with cell phone companies? HR may be able to provide the discount code. Or if you belong to a professional organization or union, I recommend contacting them regarding membership benefits. Best regards.

    AT&T gives 15% off for government employees, and Verizon is either 15 or 20% off, I can't recall which.

    Try using Straight Talk or Simple Mobile, cheap monthly plans even for Iphones
