It will cause you to buy a lot of things, that you don't normally even eat, just because you think "oh, that looks yummy" out of hunger. Also, check your local market website for their weekly BOGO deals! A coupon here and there doesn't hurt either. Most places match competitors prices, and you can use both a store coupon + a manufacturers. Always check the website of your most used products.
I agree! Nothing is better than matching a coupon with a BOGO deal! Sign up for the weekly email alerts as well that put the sale item right in your inbox. Use that to search for recipes that include the ingredients that are on sale. Also, I never pass up a 10 for $10 deal. Remember, you typically don't have to buy 10 items to get each for $1. Pair that with a coupon and you could get it for free!
