How are you making the most of your holiday gift cards?

    If you got gift cards for the holidays, how are you going to get your money's worth? Do they come with perks, or will you combine them with offers? How will you make sure they don't languish in your wallet or desk drawer?

    I got a couple good ones -- but I think my family knows to get me ones to my favorite stores! I am definitely going to spend both soon and plan to be sure I use them up within the next few months so I don't forget about them!

    I got a gift card to my favorite nail spa. I like to get gift cards for little things like this that make for great weekend pampering.

    I'm already using mine (Amazon) to cover for my latest addiction to eBooks. I hate clutter, and normally read 2-3 books at once, so carrying them around is a bummer, that's why an Amazon gift card couldn't be a better gift.

    I love combining my gift cards with store sales or value bundles, that way it feels like I'm getting multiple gifts!

    I love saving mine up to use later. It is tempting to just buy something right away at my fav store, but if I wait and buy something I really want and I get to spend less on it, it feels awesome. I love to tell the gift giver what I ended up getting so they know how much I enjoying the use of the card.
