What are you getting for Dad this year?
Another tie? Boring.
Maybe a new laptop case? Snoozer.
While plenty of dads might be pleased with these gifts, wouldn’t they love something handmade from their kids even more?
After all, it's the thought that counts, not how much you spend, right?
Lucky for you, crafting up the perfect Father’s Day gift is easier (and often cheaper) than you think.
To start, consider Dad's interests. It doesn't make sense to make Dad a tie clip if he works in an office where he wears shorts and flip flops. Does he love to golf? Garden? Collect vinyl records? No problem--all of these hobbies have easily craftable counterpoints!
So gather your kids and a few basic craft supplies, like paint and colored paper, and kick Dad out for the day.
He'll be so glad you did.
