Which is why we present another edition of 10 Things to Do With $10, just in case you have a little extra cash lying around at the end of the month for a quick pick-me-up. This time we themed it around a popular holiday activity: cooking. Since we're likely to be spending a lot of time in our kitchen at this time of year, we could use a little culinary cheer.

We've already told you which big ticket kitchen appliances are worth it; now here are a few small, clever tools that make good investments. (Psst ... they also make great gifts.)

    since i can not find the discussion topic i will talk about it here on this page.  for kitchen accessoris i would use the poach pods. they come in twos and they are great for poaching eggs. they are about $10.
    as for food, one should have staples in their pantry. staples like bags and cans of beans and oatmeal. beans cost about $.79-$1.29 at the store and i like the oatfit oatmeal because you can microwave it in 90 seconds and it helps lower your cholesterol. oatfit cost about $1.69 for a pack of 5. its well worth it especially if one is diabetic.

    The OXO measuring cups are one of the greatest designs in kitchen tools.  I have given them as Christmas gifts in sets for friends, family, and school teachers.  Everyone loves them.

    I like keeping my coupons in the car. I have them handy when I need to stop at the store with my list. I look over the sale ads on Sunday and make a list of good deals from each store. I try going early Sunday but sometimes will shop later in the week.
