Day 9: Get Visual
To see it is to believe it. Set up visual reminders of your goals and aspirations to help prevent detours along your financial track. If you really want to have fun with this, make a collage board of all the things that represent what’s important to you: family photos, travel destinations, a bank statement showing your savings, and so on. In addition, use computer and phone screen savers that show your goals so that you are often visually reminded of why it’s important to stick to your course!

So sad that there’s only one more day of this series! Farnoosh, this is a great tip. I know two women who have a jewelry company and in their offices there’s an inspiration board. Sounds hokey but they’ve found it helpful. nWhat is your visual inspiration, everyone?nCheersnCaroline WaxlernLearnVest’s Chief Content and Community Officer

This will make me sounds kind of neurotic, but my inspiration, sometimes, comes from to-do lists, and the joy of crossing items out. Once I’ve written down a task–and I break up every task into tiny, tiny parts that lead to a larger goal–I can feel like I’m really accomplishing something all the time. As long as I’m moving and not remaining stagnant, I feel like I can reach my goals.

I saw someone recently with an entire inspiration wall (in an office). It looked so awesome! I feel like even if you don’t want to clutter your walls or desk or whatever, you could still compile inspiration into a folder or book that you keep easily accessible.
